- Reduce the heat to medium and gently add the eggs so they don’t crack.
- Take time according to the table above.
- Remove the pan from the stove and rinse the eggs with cold water, let them stand and cool for 2 minutes.
How long should you cook hard-boiled eggs?
Most commonly, we buy medium-sized eggs in the shops, and these weigh about 60 grams each. If you pre-boil your water and gently drop the egg into simmering water, you should let it boil for 11 minutes to become hard-boiled.
